Background information about 'Aura'

With 'Aura', Saor invites listeners on a sonic journey through the mists of Scottish landscapes. An atmospheric blend of black metal and folk elements, this album encapsulates the spirit of ancient highlands, with lush soundscapes that weave traditional melodies into modern compositions. Each track flows seamlessly into the next, creating an immersive experience that transports you to a realm of epic storytelling and raw emotion.

Originally released in 2014 and now meticulously remastered for 2020, 'Aura' stands as a testament to Saor's mastery in crafting deeply evocative music. From the haunting opener 'Children Of The Mist' to the previously unreleased bonus track 'Ashes', this album offers a rich tapestry of sound that is both grandiose and intimate. It's a must-have for anyone seeking to explore the depths of atmospheric black metal with a uniquely Scottish twist.
