Background information about 'Shadows Of The Dying Light'
Sarayasign returns with their most ambitious work yet, "Shadows Of The Dying Light" - a cinematic masterpiece that pushes the boundaries between orchestral grandeur and modern metal. Following the critically acclaimed "Throne of Gold" (2022) and "The Lion's Road" (2023), this Swedish outfit has crafted an album that feels like a movie soundtrack brought to life through thunderous riffs and sweeping melodies. The band's signature approach of creating interconnected concept stories shines through, yet each track maintains its individual power to captivate listeners whether they're diving deep into the narrative or just enjoying the sheer musical prowess.
The production credentials alone are enough to get any metalhead excited - recorded at the legendary Top Floor Studios in Gothenburg with drum producer Jakob Herrmann (known for his work with Evergrey, Amaranthe, Devin Townsend), and mixed/mastered by the world-renowned Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios. This powerhouse team has delivered a sound that captures Sarayasign at their creative peak, blending symphonic elements with razor-sharp modern rock and metal in ways that feel both epic and intimate.
For fans of: Evergrey, Amaranthe, Devin Townsend and symphonic metal acts
