Background information about 'Endo Feight'
There are albums that creep up on you, and then there are albums that grab you by the throat from the very first riff. SARKE's "Endo Feight" is definitely the latter. This Norwegian black metal outfit, featuring members of legendary acts like Khold and Tulus, delivers a masterclass in controlled aggression that feels both ancient and refreshingly vital.
From the opener "Phantom Recluse" to the crushing finale "Macabre Embrace," this record is a relentless journey through the darker corners of the human psyche. The production is raw enough to retain the genre's essential grit but clear enough to let every sinister riff and blast beat land with devastating precision. What sets SARKE apart is their uncanny ability to weave haunting melodies into the chaos — "Lost" and "Abyssal Echoes" are prime examples of how to make black metal genuinely atmospheric without losing an ounce of intensity. The rhythm section is absolutely punishing, and the vocals are delivered with a venomous conviction that few can match. This is black metal played by seasoned veterans who know exactly when to push the pedal to the metal and when to let the darkness breathe.
