Background information about 'Under The Same Sky'
When Sleeping Pulse delivers their debut "Under The Same Sky", you know you're witnessing something extraordinary. This isn't just another collaboration – it's the sonic fusion of Antimatter's Mick Moss and Portuguese virtuoso Luís Fazendeiro from Painted Black, creating a multi-faceted modern rock masterpiece that'll knock you sideways. While Moss pours his soul into every vocal line and lyrical passage, Fazendeiro crafts the musical backbone with surgical precision, weaving together progressive foundations with delicate acoustic interludes, electronic textures, and spine-tingling string arrangements.
What makes this album absolutely mesmerizing is how Daniel Cardoso (Anathema) has mixed and mastered it to perfection – every note breathes with crystal clarity while maintaining that raw, vibrant energy that makes your speakers come alive. Moss delivers what might be his most colorful vocal performance ever, navigating the conceptual depths of sociopathic manipulation with haunting beauty. From the crushing weight of "Parasite" to the ethereal heights of the title track, this is modern rock at its most compelling and emotionally devastating.
