CD in digisleeve.

Background information about 'Fading Failing Ruin'

Three decades of crushing riffs and apocalyptic visions culminate in Solace's fifth studio masterpiece "Fading Failing Ruin". This New Jersey quintet doesn't just deliver an album – they unleash a sonic manifesto perfectly timed for our chaotic era. The band's self-proclaimed "dirt metal" sound has never felt more urgent, blending the primal power of early metal with contemporary heaviness that hits like a sledgehammer to the soul.

From the opening spiral of "Spiral Will" to the crushing finale of "Ridden", these nine tracks showcase master craftsmen at their absolute peak. The apocalyptic themes threading through songs like "A God Changes His Plans" and "Culling The Herd" mirror our current global anxiety while delivering the cathartic release only true heavy metal can provide. Solace has spent thirty years perfecting their amalgamation of doom, heavy metal, and hardcore elements, and "Fading Failing Ruin" stands as their most cohesive statement yet.
