After eight years of silence, Tank roared back to life in 2010 with "War Machine", marking a bold new chapter following founder Algy Ward's departure. With Rainbow veteran Doogie White stepping up to the microphone and the core duo of guitarists Mick Tucker and Cliff Evans still firing on all cylinders, this album proved that Tank could evolve without losing their metallic edge. The band's shift from their raw street-metal origins toward a more polished classic rock approach might have raised eyebrows, but "War Machine" silenced the doubters with its sheer quality and craftsmanship.
