The Ghoulstars have conjured something truly wicked with their debut offering. "The Dark Overlords of the Universe" is a monstrous love letter to horror punk that'll make your graveyard shift infinitely more entertaining. This Finnish supergroup doesn't just wear their influences on their tattered sleeves – they resurrect them with surgical precision and B-movie bravado.

From the opening howls of "Too Ghoul for School" to the spine-chilling finale of "They Dance Upon Our Graves", these horror punks deliver 34 minutes of pure undead euphoria. The title track alone is worth selling your soul for, weaving surf beats and crushing riffs into a chorus that's absolutely to die for. "Graverobbers from Outer Space" pays homage to classic B-horror with headbanging fury, while tracks like "The Wolfman" and "Vampire" showcase the band's knack for crafting anthems that Universal monsters would moshdance to.
