Background information about 'Hun'
The Mongolian folk-metal juggernauts The HU are back with "Hun", their highly anticipated new studio album via Better Noise Music. Building on the massive international success of "The Gereg" and "Rumble of Thunder", the band once again pushes the boundaries of rock and takes fans worldwide on an unforgettable journey. This time around, The HU perfect their signature blend of traditional Mongolian instruments, throat singing and thunderous, modern rock production to a level that feels both ancient and utterly fresh at the same time.
Recorded once again at the Nature Sound Studio in Ulaanbaatar - a place that has become a second home for the band over the years - "Hun" delivers tracks like "The Real You", "The Men" and "Lost Soul" that are destined to excite rock fans across every border and add another thrilling chapter to The HU's remarkable success story. Frontman Gala puts it perfectly: "We took our time to do this right, and I'm so glad that we're almost ready to release what we have worked on these past few years. As well as always staying true to ourselves, the most important thing for us is longevity. That has been the case since the beginning of the band. We don't just want a song that will be in the charts for a week and then drop off. We want to create something that will last for decades." And that is exactly what "Hun" feels like - music with soul, power and staying power.
