It feels deeply familiar and thrillingly alien at the same time, the mark of a duo whose adventurous streak refuses to be tamed.

Across eighteen tracks, the band swings between bruising, knotty rhythms and moments of startling, almost fragile beauty. The Spanish-language titles thread through the whole thing like a fever dream, pulling you into a world that's equal parts mythology and raw nerve. There are passages that hark back to the labyrinthine energy of their early days, but filtered through the wisdom and restraint of musicians who have nothing left to prove. It's dense, it's demanding, and it rewards the kind of deep listening that most modern records don't even ask for anymore. This is a band operating at full, uncompromising power.
