Background information about 'Clients'
The Red Chord unleashes pure metalcore fury with "Clients", a devastating 20th anniversary vinyl release that captures the band's most brutal and technically proficient era. This Massachusetts quintet carved their name into extreme music history with precision-driven chaos, and "Clients" stands as their crowning achievement of controlled aggression and surgical brutality.
From the opening assault of "Fixation on Plastics" to the closing devastation of "He Was Dead When I Got There", this album showcases The Red Chord at their most uncompromising. The band's signature blend of technical death metal and hardcore punk creates an sonic maelstrom that's both intellectually challenging and viscerally punishing. Tracks like "Black Santa" and "Dragon Wagon" demonstrate their ability to craft memorable hooks within seemingly impenetrable walls of sound, while the title track "Clients" delivers a masterclass in controlled chaos.
