Background information about 'Crepuscule Natura'

UADA have long since carved out their own patch of sky in the black metal firmament, and "Crepuscule Natura" feels like the moment that patch finally swallows the horizon whole. There is a wild, windswept grandeur to these five tracks, a sense of standing on some Pacific cliffside while the last light drains out of the world and the first cold stars begin to pin themselves to the dark. The riffing is colossal without ever bludgeoning for its own sake, the melodies rising and falling like a tide that never quite reaches shore. This is music that breathes, that swells, that refuses to sit still.

Where so many bands in this style drown in their own atmosphere, UADA keep the hooks sharp and the momentum relentless. "The Abyss Gazing Back" opens like a slow dawn over black water, and by the time "Through The Wax And Through The Wane" closes things out, you have been dragged through every shade of twilight the band can conjure. The production is rich and layered, giving the tremolo lines room to shimmer while the drums hit with real force. It is cinematic without being showy, epic without being bloated. This is black metal as a journey, not a destination.
