Background information about 'Bloody Vengeance'
"Bloody Vengeance," originally released in 1986, stands as a seminal album in the history of South American metal. Vulcano, hailing from São Paulo, Brazil, managed to capture the raw intensity and unrefined aggression that characterized the emerging extreme metal scene of the time. The album was recorded and mixed in a mere 24 hours, yet it resonates with an energy that rivals the likes of Slayer and Kreator. Over the years, "Bloody Vengeance" has been celebrated as an underground classic, maintaining its ferocious charm and influence on subsequent generations of metal bands.
High Roller Records has now taken on the task of reissuing this iconic release, restoring and remastering it to reflect what was intended back in 1986. The sound has been meticulously enhanced by Patrick W. Engel, bringing the clarity that fans have long awaited. This edition preserves all the relentless spirit while elevating the listening experience to a new level of fidelity. "Bloody Vengeance" is not just an album but a testament to Vulcano's lasting impact on the heavy metal genre.
