This re-release brings back one of the most uncompromising albums in the stoner doom pantheon, showcasing the North Carolina trio at their most ferocious and unhinged. From the ominous intro "The Great Unfurling" to the epic title track that clocks in at nearly six minutes of pure sonic devastation, this album is a relentless journey through the swampiest corners of heavy music.

The band's signature blend of crushing riffs, pounding rhythms, and Dixie Dave's distinctive vocal growls creates an atmosphere that's both menacing and hypnotic. Tracks like "Hammerhandle" and "Turkey Warlock" showcase their ability to craft memorable hooks within their wall of distortion, while "March Of The Bipolar Bear" serves as a brief but intense interlude that keeps the momentum building toward the album's devastating conclusion with "Whiskey Creek".
