After six long years of anticipation, Swedish occult rock masters Year Of The Goat return with their fourth studio album "Trivia Goddess". This haunting collection takes a bold departure from their ongoing trilogy that began with the award-winning "Angels Necropolis" (2012) and continued with the critically acclaimed "Novis Orbis Terrarum Ordinis" (2019). Drawing inspiration from the darkest chapters in women's history, the album confronts the vilification of women by churches and patriarchal structures throughout the ages of Abrahamic religions.

The Norrköping-based collective channels a sinister, almost medieval atmosphere throughout the record. Tracks like "Power of Eve" showcase the band's epic and powerful side, while "Alucarda" captivates with an irresistibly catchy 70s hard rock vibe. The title track invokes Hekate, the mother of witches and the "Trivia Goddess" herself, giving new meaning to the term 'witch hunt'. This haunting soundtrack is dedicated to the 280 souls lost during Sweden's "great noise" - eight years of witch trials that claimed countless lives. Driven by the dark sounds of the 60s and 70s, Year Of The Goat returns more majestic, epic and melodic than ever before.
