About the album With their debut album "The Land under the Black Wings: Swamp", Dymna Lotva introduced a distinctly Belarusian element into the black metal scene in 2016. The founding duo immediately presented an elaborate concept designed as the first part of a trilogy. The lyrics are based on historical events and legends from their Belarusian homeland and frequently cite the country's classic literature. The musical fervor of composer Jauhien Charkasau and singer Katsiaryna "Nokt Aeon" Mankevich was ignited by the news that Belarusian writer Svetlana Alexievich had received the Nobel Prize in Literature.
