Background information about 'Identity'
Alpha Tiger are back with a statement. "Identity" is not just an album title — it's a mission statement from these German heavy metal warriors. From the moment the instrumental intro fades into the crushing riffs of "Lady Liberty", you know you're in for a ride. The band has always walked the fine line between classic heavy metal and modern power, and on this third full-length, they sharpen every edge to a razor's gleam.
"Scripted Reality" hits with a groove that nods to the golden era of 80s metal while keeping both feet firmly planted in the present. Vocalist Alexander Backasch delivers with a throaty, passionate roar that cuts through the mix like a hot blade. The title track "Identity" is the centerpiece — a mid-tempo crusher with a chorus that demands fists in the air. "We Won't Take It Anymore" channels righteous anger into an anthem that could fill arenas. The production is crisp, heavy, and lets every riff breathe. This is a band that knows exactly who they are and what they want to say.
