Background information about 'Impii Hora'

Danish death metal supergroup Asinhell delivers a crushing debut that feels like a lightning strike from the underworld itself. "Impii Hora" translates to "unholy hour," and every second of this 10-track assault lives up to that ominous promise. The album opens with "Fall Of The Loyal Warrior" – a thunderous declaration that immediately establishes the band's ferocious intent, while tracks like "Inner Sancticide" and "Island Of Dead Men" showcase their ability to weave intricate melodies through walls of devastating brutality.

What sets this release apart is the perfect balance between old-school death metal savagery and modern production clarity. "Trophies" and "The Ultimate Sin" demonstrate the band's knack for crafting memorable hooks without sacrificing an ounce of intensity. The closing track "Føj For Helvede" brings everything full circle with its Danish lyrics adding an authentic Nordic darkness that's absolutely spine-chilling. This isn't just another death metal album – it's a masterclass in how to honor the genre's traditions while pushing boundaries.
