Background information about 'The End Is High'
Polish doom metal titans Belzebong emerge from the smoke-filled abyss with their most apocalyptic statement yet! "The End Is High" isn't just an album title – it's a prophetic declaration delivered through crushing riffs and hypnotic rhythms that'll leave you questioning reality itself. These Warsaw-based riff merchants have perfected their formula of cannabis-infused doom metal, creating soundscapes so thick you could practically inhale them. From the moment "Bong & Chain" kicks down your door to the final echoes of "Reefer Mortis," this is pure sonic devastation wrapped in clouds of green.
What sets this release apart is how Belzebong has refined their craft without losing that raw, underground edge that made them legends in the stoner doom scene. The production by Satanic Audio captures every nuance of their down-tuned destruction while maintaining that authentic, unpolished feel that separates the real deal from the pretenders. Tracks like "420 Horsemen" and "Hempnotized" showcase their ability to balance crushing heaviness with mesmerizing groove, creating music that's equally suited for headbanging and transcendental meditation.
