Background information about 'Carnivore Sublime'

French extreme metal veterans Benighted deliver another crushing blow to the senses with "Carnivore Sublime", a relentless assault that showcases the band's evolution while maintaining their signature brutality. This album finds the group exploring darker territories, blending their trademark technical death metal with grindcore elements and atmospheric passages that create an unsettling yet captivating listening experience. The production is razor-sharp, allowing every blast beat and guttural growl to cut through the mix with surgical precision.

From the opening chaos of "X2Y" to the haunting closer "June And The Laconic Solstice", Benighted craft a sonic nightmare that's both technically impressive and emotionally devastating. Tracks like "Experience Your Flesh" and the title track "Carnivore Sublime" demonstrate the band's ability to balance extreme aggression with moments of eerie beauty, while "Les Morsures Du Cerbère" adds a distinctly French flavor to their already diverse sound palette. The album stands as a testament to Benighted's continued relevance in the extreme metal scene, proving that after decades of existence, they still have fresh horrors to unleash.
