Background information about 'Oozing Earth'

Bernhard Gander has crafted something absolutely mind-blowing with "Oozing Earth" – a sonic apocalypse that defies every musical convention you thought you knew. This isn't just classical music, and it sure as hell isn't your typical extreme metal either. It's a genre-obliterating masterpiece that sits somewhere in the musical netherworld between orchestral chaos and industrial brutality. The Frankfurt-based Ensemble Moderne joins forces with two absolute legends: Attila Csihar from Mayhem delivering his signature otherworldly vocals, and Flo Mounier from Cryptopsy behind the kit, creating percussion that sounds like the earth literally splitting open.

What makes this release so damn compelling is how Gander manages to weave together 16 tracks that feel like witnessing the end times through a kaleidoscope of sound. Six instrumental pieces showcase the ensemble's jazz-tinged moments of relative calm before the storm hits again with full orchestral fury. The vocal tracks feature Csihar's haunting delivery over compositions that swing between delicate chamber music passages and full-blown sonic warfare. This is experimental music at its most visceral and uncompromising – a musical experience that will leave you questioning everything you thought you knew about genre boundaries.

A musical experience never heard before, somewhere between classic, industrial & extreme metal.
