Picture disc vinyl in gatefold cover.

Background information about 'Red Before Black'

Thirty years deep and still swinging harder than anyone in the room — that's the kind of longevity that shouldn't be possible in extreme metal, yet Cannibal Corpse makes it look effortless. "Red Before Black", their fourteenth studio record, landed in 2017 and instantly reminded everyone why these Florida death metal titans remain untouchable. The album is a masterclass in controlled violence: surgical riffing, pummeling blast beats, and George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher's unmistakable guttural roar all locked into a groove that never lets up for a second.

What makes this one special is the rawness. Alex Webster himself said it "goes beyond anything we've done recently," and you can hear it in every track — there's a feral, live-wire energy running through these twelve songs that feels immediate and dangerous. Tracks like the title cut and "Code of the Slashers" hit with the force of a freight train, while the production keeps everything razor-sharp without sanding off the grit. It's death metal stripped back to its brutal, beating heart, performed by a band that has nothing left to prove and everything still to destroy. This picture disc pressing turns an already essential album into a proper collector's piece for the shelf.
