Background information about 'Feed My Absurdity'
There are bands that play death metal, and then there are bands that are death metal. Dawn of Demise have been grinding away in the Danish underground for over a decade now, and with Feed My Absurdity they sound absolutely ravenous. This is the kind of record that hits you in the chest first and asks questions later — a relentless barrage of downtuned riffage, pummeling blast beats, and that thick, suffocating low-end that makes your speakers feel like they're about to give up.
What sets this album apart is how effortlessly it balances brutality with groove. Tracks lurch and swing with a sickening momentum, dragging you through breakdowns that feel less like musical passages and more like a boot to the sternum. The vocals are a guttural, cavernous roar that sits perfectly in the mix, never burying the razor-sharp guitar work underneath. There's a surprising amount of melody buried in the chaos too — the kind of bleak, melodic sensibility that fans of modern death metal will immediately lock onto. It's punishing, yes, but it's also catchy in that twisted, headbanging way that keeps you coming back for another spin.
