Background information about 'Evil Nights'
These Italian masters of darkness have conjured something truly special with Evil Nights – a debut mini-album that feels like it was summoned straight from the depths of 1982. Demon Spell channels the very essence of classic heavy metal horror, delivering four tracks of spine-chilling excellence that would make King Diamond himself nod in approval. The band's lineup reads like a who's who of Italian metal royalty: drummer Dario Casabona brings two decades of experience from legendary Schizo, while guitarist Francesco Bauso co-founded stoner-doom titans Haunted.
What sets Evil Nights apart is its unwavering commitment to authenticity. This isn't nostalgic worship – it's genuine terror made manifest through riffs that slice like midnight razors and vocals that soar between operatic grandeur and demonic proclamation. Federico Fano's voice carries the theatrical menace of the genre's greatest frontmen, weaving tales of supernatural dread over Francesco's razor-sharp guitar work. The production captures that perfect balance of clarity and rawness that defined the golden age of heavy metal, making every note feel both immediate and timeless.
