Background information about 'All Belong To The Night'
All Belong To The Night is the latest full-length from Drudkh, the Ukrainian black metal institution that has spent two decades carving out a sound that is entirely their own. This album feels like a slow descent into darkness, guided by melodies that are equal parts sorrowful and majestic. The opening track The Nocturnal One sets the tone with its sprawling, hypnotic riff work and the signature distant, raw vocal delivery that fans have come to expect. There is a meditative quality here, a sense of drifting through night forests and forgotten landscapes.
Windmills and November continue that journey, each track unfolding at its own unhurried pace, allowing the atmosphere to breathe. Drudkh have never been a band that rushes; they build their songs like monuments, layer by layer, until the weight of the music becomes almost physical. The closing epic Till We Become the Haze stretches past fifteen minutes, a masterclass in patient, immersive songwriting that rewards the listener who surrenders to it completely. This is black metal at its most contemplative and beautiful, without losing any of its edge or intensity.
