Background information about 'Evil Warriors'

Emerging from the jagged underground of Leipzig in 2007, Evil Warriors have spent nearly two decades as a relentless fixture of the German black metal scene. Known for a formidable live reputation that has seen them haunting stages across Europe, the band has evolved from their formative 2011 debut "Expressions of Endless Dreams" into a focused, lethal force of sonic violence. Following the success of 2018's "Fall From Reality" and the 2020 EP "Schattenbringer", the band returns in 2026 with their most uncompromising statement to date.

The self-titled full-length "Evil Warriors" is an "axe swung" from the depths of East German hell. Forged across several years with a raw live-recorded engineering base at the band's "rehearsal hell", the album captures a violent mania that few studio-sterile projects can replicate. Featuring members with pedigrees in Death Worship, Bloody Vengeance, and YounA, the record blends traditional black metal malice with unexpected avant-garde touches including the haunting inclusion of saxophone. This is a five-track confession of madness intended to possess the soul and sacrifice the listener's sanity to the pentagram.
