Background information about 'Ethos'
"Ethos," the latest offering from German Black Metal stalwarts Firtan, captures the essence of aural darkness and melodic intensity. Following their acclaimed album "Marter," this double LP transports listeners into an intricate world where melancholic soundscapes and aggressive riffs coalesce. The album features contributions from notable artists J.J. (Harakiri For The Sky, Karg) and L.G. (Ellende), adding layers of depth to its haunting compositions. Recorded at Klangschmiede Studio E by Markus Stock, "Ethos" is a testament to Firtan's evolving sound and mastery over their craft. The band's exploration of themes like existential dread and introspection is vividly brought to life through tracks that seamlessly blend atmospheric elements with black metal's raw intensity.
