Background information about 'Bear'

Friendship Commanders are back with their fourth studio effort "Bear", and honestly, this might be their most emotionally raw and sonically powerful release yet. The Nashville duo of Buick Audra (vocals, guitar) and Jerry Roe (drums, bass) have crafted something truly special here - an album that tackles themes of belonging and identity with the kind of unflinching honesty that'll hit you right in the gut. Written around Audra's realization of being "kicked out of womanhood", "Bear" becomes a powerful documentation of finding connection through art, outsider culture, and those dimly lit rock venues where creativity runs wild.

What makes this record so compelling is how Audra and Roe structured it with two distinct musical personalities - heavy and light, salt and sugar as they put it.
