"Malice (Our Third Spell)" stands as the Norwegian black metal legends' most ambitious and comprehensive statement, clocking in at nearly 60 minutes of pure sonic brutality. Originally unleashed in 1996, this masterpiece marked the end of an era for the band, being the final album to feature keyboardist Sarcana and drummer Dirge Rep, and representing their last pure black metal offering before they ventured into more death metal territories.
