Black double vinyl in gatefold sleeve.

Background information about 'Last Day Of Darkness'

When Norwegian progressive metal masters Green Carnation decided to capture their legendary "Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness" in its full live glory, they knew it had to be perfect. This isn't just any ordinary live recording – it's the complete 60-minute epic performed in its entirety at Kilden in Kristiansand on November 26, 2016, crystallizing one of progressive metal's most ambitious compositions into a breathtaking live experience.

The sheer audacity of performing this marathon piece live speaks volumes about the band's technical prowess and artistic vision. What makes this release truly special is hearing how Green Carnation transforms their studio masterpiece into something even more dynamic and emotionally charged in the live setting. The interplay between Tchort's intricate guitar work and the rhythm section creates moments of pure transcendence that studio recordings simply cannot capture. As a bonus, Tchort himself narrates "The Story Of Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness" providing intimate insights into the creation of this progressive metal monument.

Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Pain Of Salvation, Katatonia, My Dying Bride
