Background information about 'Hail Of Bullets'
The album "Hail Of Bullets" by the eponymous Dutch death metal band represents a milestone within the genre. Originally self-released in 2007, this debut quickly gained cult status due to its raw power and the ability to merge musical brutality with storytelling. The EP narrates tales of historical wars and conflicts, amplified by its grim instrumentation and powerful vocals. Hail Of Bullets became known as a death metal supergroup whose members hail from renowned bands like Asphyx and Gorefest.\n\nThis re-release brings the long out-of-print work back to shelves, now with revamped artwork and new vinyl formats. The band consists of Stephan Gebédi (guitar), Martin van Drunen (vocals), Paul Baayens (guitar), Theo van Eekelen (bass), and Ed Warby (drums). The EP is seen as a precursor to the success of the band's subsequent albums, which continued to carry their unique style forward. This reissue not only pays homage to the band's beginnings but also celebrates their ongoing relevance in the metal world.
