Black vinyl with lyrics insert and A2 poster.

Background information about 'Támsins Likam'

From the windswept shores of the Faroe Islands emerges Hamferd, delivering their crushing debut "Támsins Likam" with the weight of Nordic mythology and the fury of Atlantic storms. This isn't just another doom metal release – it's a sonic journey through ancient folklore, where traditional Faroese poetry meets bone-crushing riffs that could split glaciers. The band weaves their native language into compositions that feel both timeless and devastatingly modern, creating an atmosphere so thick you can practically taste the salt spray and feel the northern winds.

What sets "Támsins Likam" apart is how Hamferd manages to channel their isolated homeland's essence into every note. Tracks like "Fylgisflog" and "Stygd" showcase their ability to build towering walls of sound that collapse into moments of haunting beauty, while "Tvístevndur Meldur" demonstrates their mastery of dynamics – from whispered incantations to earth-shaking crescendos. The production captures every nuance, from the rumbling bass depths to the crystalline guitar harmonies that pierce through the darkness like lighthouse beacons.

For fans of:
Pallbearer, Warning, Candlemass, My Dying Bride, Katatonia
