Background information about 'A War Against You'
After a decade-long hiatus, Ignite stormed back with "A War Against You" in 2016, delivering their fifth studio album that proved the Orange County hardcore legends hadn't lost a single ounce of their fire. This is melodic hardcore punk at its absolute finest – a masterclass in combining crushing riffs with anthemic choruses that'll have you singing along from the first listen.
The album tackles everything from personal struggles to political upheaval, with frontman Zoli Téglás delivering vocals that seamlessly shift between raw aggression and soaring melody. Tracks like "Nothing Can Stop Me" and "Begin Again" showcase the band's ability to craft songs that hit like a freight train while remaining irresistibly catchy. The production is crisp and punchy, giving every breakdown and sing-along moment the power it deserves.
