Background information about 'To The North And Into Eternal Winter - Live In Darkness 1993-1995'

Step into the frozen wastelands of black metal history with this raw document of Immortal's legendary early years. "To The North And Into Eternal Winter - Live In Darkness 1993-1995" captures the Norwegian legends during their most ferocious and uncompromising era – the 1993 Fuck Christ Tour and 1995 Battle Of The Ages Tour. These aren't your typical live recordings; they're unfiltered fan bootlegs that breathe with the authentic spirit of underground black metal culture.

This collection serves as a time capsule from when black metal was still young, dangerous, and defiantly outside mainstream consciousness. Before the scene became commercialized, before trends dictated direction, Immortal carved their path through frozen Norwegian landscapes with nothing but conviction and cold determination. The rawness isn't a flaw – it's the entire point. Every crackle, every imperfection tells the story of a movement built on tape trading, underground dedication, and pure sonic brutality. Restored and remastered by Patrick W. Engel at the Temple of Disharmony, these recordings preserve the essence of an era that will never return.
