This devastating split release brings together two of the most compelling forces in contemporary atmospheric black metal. Kjeld unleashes three tracks of bone-chilling Frisian black metal that feels like wandering through ancient marshlands under a blood-red moon. Their contribution opens with "Banier Van Frisia", a battle cry that weaves traditional folk melodies into walls of tremolo-picked fury, followed by the haunting "Wanskepsel" and the epic "Keningsein" - each track building upon themes of regional heritage and ancestral darkness.

Wederganger responds with equal ferocity on the flip side, delivering two crushing anthems of Dutch black metal mastery. "Laaiende Haat" burns with the intensity of a thousand funeral pyres, while "De Galgenberg" closes the split with atmospheric passages that drift between melancholy and pure aggression.
