Background information about 'Towards the Shores of The End'

There are splits, and then there are records that feel less like a collaboration and more like a single, breathing entity — "Towards the Shores of the End" belongs firmly in the latter camp. Fen and De Arma don't just share a slab of gold wax here; they share a vision, a mood, a slow-burning descent into something vast and melancholic that refuses to let go once it takes hold.

Fen open the journey with the hypnotic "Soilbound," a track that unfurls like early morning fog over marshland, all shimmering tremolo and aching melody before "Ageless Threnody" pushes deeper into their signature blend of atmospheric black metal and post-rock introspection. The title track closes their half with a sweeping, synth-laced finale that feels like the horizon itself is singing. Then De Arma take the reins, and the tone shifts — "Crimson Waters Ebbing the Shore" is pure longing rendered in sound, while "Noemata" and the piano-brushed "From Horizon to Oblivion" drift toward a devastating, elegiac beauty. This is music that rewards patience, the kind of record you sink into rather than simply listen to.
