Germany's KNIFE burst onto the metalpunk scene in 2019 with a mission that's as sharp as their name - to deliver fast, wild, and uncompromising metal. This self-titled debut LP showcases a band that's been perfecting their craft since their early tape releases, and man, do they deliver the goods here! What started with their "Black Leather Hounds" demo and continued with the aptly named "Locked In" EP has culminated in this full-length statement that's equal parts thrilling and dangerous.
The sound on this record is a masterclass in controlled chaos - think classic hard rock and heavy metal getting into a bar fight with first-wave black metal and punk rock, with everyone walking away bloodied but grinning. The production captures that raw, throttling energy that made their earlier releases so compelling, but with the added punch that only a full album can provide.
