Background information about 'III - He Who Sleeps Amongst The Stars'
When Krux unleashed their third studio offering in 2011, they delivered something truly monumental with "III - He Who Sleeps Amongst The Stars". This Swedish doom collective, featuring members with pedigrees stretching across the underground metal spectrum, crafted an album that feels like a cosmic journey through the darkest corners of space and psyche. The record showcases their signature blend of crushing, glacial riffs and haunting melodies that seem to echo from some distant nebula.
The album's eight tracks unfold like chapters in an interstellar horror story, each one more captivating than the last. From the opening moments, you're drawn into a world where time moves differently, where every note carries the weight of dying stars and forgotten civilizations. The production captures that perfect balance between clarity and atmospheric density, allowing each instrument to breathe while maintaining that suffocating cosmic dread that defines great doom metal.
