Background information about 'Those Of The Morbid'
"Those of the Morbid" by LEPER COLONY is a masterful blend of brutal death metal that pays homage to the genre's roots while pushing its boundaries. The album kicks off with a relentless barrage of riffs and thunderous drumming that sets the tone for what is to come. Vocalist Marc Grewe delivers an intense performance, his growls and screams perfectly complementing the dark and complex musical landscape crafted by guitarist Rogga Johansson.
As the album progresses, tracks like "The Age of Insanity" and "Apocalypse Whore" showcase the band's ability to weave intricate melodies with crushing heaviness. The production quality is top-notch, allowing each instrument to shine without losing the raw energy that defines classic death metal. This record is a testament to LEPER COLONY's dedication to their craft, making it a must-listen for fans of the genre.
