Background information about 'Necro'
LIK – The masters of modern Swedish death metal return with full force, unleashing their fourth album ‘Necro’ via Metal Blade on April 18th, 2025! A relentless sonic assault, ‘Necro’ embodies the raw energy of a blood-soaked horror classic, blending chainsaw riffs, ferocious drumming, and guttural growls into a masterpiece of unfiltered aggression. LIK stays true to the essence of death metal, carving through the genre’s imitators with an uncompromising sound that reeks of decay and destruction.
Dive into the visceral depths of ‘Necro’, where grotesque tales of war, death, and apocalyptic terror unfold beneath the macabre artwork of Jens Olsson (Ink Fanatics). Recorded at the infamous NBS Studio (Necromorbus Studio), this album is a triumphant return to the raw, bone-crushing intensity that defines Swedish death metal. Get ready for a relentless onslaught of morbid riffs and nightmarish visions – LIK is here to bury the weak!
