Background information about 'Violent Visions'

Austria's LUDGAR are not here to play nice. Their debut album "Violent Visions" is a fucking wrecking ball of pure, unadulterated metal fury that drags you straight into a dungeon where no light dares to enter. The name Ludgar - originally short for "Loup de Guerre" (war wolf), a medieval trebuchet capable of crushing entire villages - is the perfect metaphor for what this band unleashes.

From the very first note, you know you're in for something special. This isn't your polished, modern black metal - this is raw, unfiltered, 80s-rooted savagery with a dungeon-crawling atmosphere that feels genuinely dangerous. Think Hellfire's "Desaster" from the "Dominion" era, think labelmates WITCHING HOUR, imagine a blackened version of "Hellish Crossfire" - but LUDGAR roar from an even darker, more malevolent pit. The riffs are infectious, the urgency is breathless, and the whole thing feels like a devilish, addictive delirium that's been sorely missing from metal for far too long.

This is blackthrash that refuses to play by the rules, dripping with an unholy, lawless energy that grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go. Open your eyes to "Violent Visions" - if you dare.
