Background information about 'On The Seventh Day God Created... Master (Re-Release)'
Released in 2022, Master's "On the Seventh Day God Created... Master" embodies the raw and unyielding energy that has become synonymous with their name. A reissue of a pivotal album in the death metal genre, it showcases a fusion of thrash and death metal elements that refuse to compromise in intensity or power. This album serves as a testament to Master's enduring influence on the extreme metal landscape.
The tracks are both ferocious and thought-provoking; compositions like "What Kind Of God" challenge listeners with existential questions wrapped in relentless riffs and guttural vocals. Each song is crafted with precision by founding member Paul Speckmann and enhanced by contributions from other talented musicians like John Tardy's backing vocals on select tracks. With its unapologetic aggression paired with lyrical depth, this album is an essential piece for aficionados of the genre.
