Mesh never really closed the book on "The Truth Doesn't Matter" — they just paused mid-sentence. Fallen Angel picks that sentence back up, and what a gloriously restless little record it turns out to be. Mark Hockings and Richard Silverthorn came off a run of sold-out shows and Album of the Month nods still buzzing, and instead of resting on it, they went straight back into the writing room. The result is a mini-album that behaves less like a fresh start and more like a secret wing of the same building — new rooms, same haunted architecture.
