After six long years since "Hardwired... to Self-Destruct", the metal titans Metallica return with their eleventh studio album "72 Seasons" - and man, what a triumphant comeback it is! This 77-minute monster showcases the band firing on all cylinders, with James Hetfield's vocals sounding as commanding as ever while Lars Ulrich delivers some of his most dynamic drumming in years. The album dives deep into themes of childhood trauma and personal growth, with tracks like "Screaming Suicide" and "If Darkness Had a Son" proving that these legends still have plenty of fire left in them.

What makes "72 Seasons" so compelling is how it balances crushing heaviness with melodic sophistication. Songs like "Lux Æterna" bring back that classic Metallica gallop we all know and love, while "Inamorata" closes the album as an 11-minute epic that recalls their progressive tendencies from the "...And Justice for All" era.
