Background information about 'Fire in the Brain'
Finnish metal legends OZ return with their legendary second album "Fire In The Brain", a masterpiece that cemented their status as Euro-metal pioneers. Originally released in 1983, this dark and powerful record showcases the band at their absolute peak, delivering crushing heavy metal anthems that hit like a freight train.
The album features explosive tracks like "Fortune", "Megalomaniac", and "Gambler", each one a testament to OZ's ability to craft both melodic and devastating metal compositions. From the apocalyptic opener "Search Lights" to the viscous "Black Candles" and the monumental title track, this record takes no prisoners. The European sound is unmistakable, with Ape DeMartini's commanding vocals leading the charge over Speedy Foxx and Spooky Wolff's dual guitar assault, backed by the thunderous rhythm section of Jay C. Blade and Mark Ruffneck.
