The debut album "Infectious Vermin" by Rats Of Gomorrah unleashes a swarm of malevolent rodents upon an unsuspecting world. Born out of frustration with the metal scene’s aversion to change, this album is rooted in death metal but branches into heavy and speed metal. The vocals are diverse, and the sound is spiced with crust-influenced riffs and catchy choruses. Lyrically, the band transforms current themes into dark tales reminiscent of H.P. Lovecraft, teeming with rat infestations. Despite their recent name, Rats Of Gomorrah have a long history, having emerged from the North German death metal trio DIVIDE formed in 2009. Their music promises to drown out any creeping noises from the walls when played at full volume.
