Background information about 'ntodrm'

Seamount delivers a crushing monument of doom with "ntodrm", an album that stands as a testament to the raw power and atmospheric depth that defines classic doom metal. From the opening moments of "Sleeping Wizard", the band establishes a sonic landscape that's both haunting and hypnotically heavy, weaving together crushing riffs with an almost ritualistic sense of purpose. Tracks like "Kiss The Skull" and "Torch Of Doom" showcase the band's ability to balance sheer heaviness with melodic sensibilities, creating compositions that feel both ancient and timeless.

The album's second half maintains this crushing momentum, with "Revelation" and "Tears Of A Giant" exploring darker territories while "Spring Fairy" provides an unexpected yet perfectly placed moment of ethereal beauty before the title track "Seamount" closes the journey with apocalyptic grandeur. The production captures every nuance of the band's sound, from the thunderous low-end to the soaring guitar leads that pierce through the darkness like beacons of hope in a desolate landscape.
