Background information about 'Live Undead'
"Live Undead" captures the raw energy and unyielding ferocity of Slayer's early live performances. Recorded during their 1984 Haunting North America Tour in New York City, the album delivers a visceral experience that is both chaotic and exhilarating. With tracks like 'Black Magic' and 'Die by the Sword,' the listener is thrust into a sonic assault characterized by rapid-fire guitar riffs and relentless drumming. The band's dynamic interplay is palpable throughout each track, showcasing their ability to blend speed metal intensity with thrash metal aggression seamlessly.
The reissued version of "Live Undead" has been carefully remastered at Future Disc to ensure every note pierces through with clarity while retaining its original raw edge. Fans of the genre will appreciate the inclusion of the striking original artwork and a large 60x60cm poster. This limited edition release on blood-splattered vinyl not only serves as a testament to Slayer's legendary status but also as an essential collector's piece for any metal enthusiast.
