Background information about 'Demo 2026'

Out of the rotting caverns of Moravian despair crawls something genuinely foul, and I mean that as the highest compliment a black metal maniac can pay. Solomonar have arrived with "Demo 2026", and it hits like a bottle of cheap spirits smashed against a tombstone. This is occult metal-punk at its most rabid: four Czech degenerates from Brno, drawn from the Spelukna collective and outfits like Mörghuul, Otras and Yossarian, who know exactly how to weld old-school metal riffing to a filthy, sweat-soaked punk charge.

What gets me about this demo is how immediate it feels. There's no polishing, no overthinking, just raw, chorus-riddled occult warfare delivered at a breakneck, beer-drenched pace. Romantic vampirism, morbid visions, the ever-present shadow of death, mysticism and a frankly heroic amount of alcohol — that's the whole unholy recipe, and it bleeds through every ragged note. The melodies are hooky in a way that sneaks up on you, buried under layers of grime but refusing to stay buried. You can practically smell the rehearsal-room reek and the stale smoke.

This is the sound of a band that worships the old ways but refuses to stand still, twisting classic metal shapes through a dirty punk lens until they come out mangled and grinning. It's nasty, it's catchy, and it's got that rare thing so many modern bands lose in the studio: actual hunger. Four tracks, zero mercy, and a debut that announces Solomonar as a name to watch with bloodshot eyes and a raised fist.
