Named after the sacred Mayan tree that connects earth, heaven and the underworld, Ceiba is heavy with themes of loss, mortality and rebirth — but never once does it buckle under that weight. Opener "Ashes" crashes in like a lightning strike, one thunderous riff after another, before the clouds part and that rousing chorus lifts you clean off your feet. "Broken" strips things back to ghostly synths and raw vulnerability, mourning the end of a codependent relationship with devastating restraint. Then there's "Ceased To Be" — the lead single that crosses back and forth between technical sorcery and divine melodies, delivering the kind of hook that burrows into your skull and refuses to leave.
