THE ROLLING STONES · Foreign Tongues | YELLOW LP + BLU-RAY BOXSET

Yellow LP and Blu-Ray in boxset. Limited edition.

Background information about 'Foreign Tongues'

There's something about the Rolling Stones that never gets old. Even after all these decades, they still manage to drop something that makes you sit up and pay attention. "Foreign Tongues" is exactly that kind of record — a reminder that rock 'n' roll doesn't have an expiration date, and these guys wrote the damn book on it.

The album crackles with that unmistakable swagger that only The Rolling Stones can pull off. From the opening riff to the last fading chord, it's a masterclass in staying vital without trying too hard. The production is crisp, letting every guitar lick and vocal sneer breathe. There's a looseness here that feels lived-in, like old friends jamming in a garage that happens to be the size of a stadium. Tracks weave between blues-drenched rockers and moments of unexpected tenderness, proving the Glimmer Twins still know their way around a hook.

What strikes you most is how "Foreign Tongues" doesn't sound like a legacy act going through the motions. It sounds hungry. It sounds like a band that still has something to prove — to themselves, if nobody else. The rhythm section locks in with that patented groove, the guitars weave and spar, and Jagger's voice... damn, it's still got that edge.
